Default Climbing issues

Hello,

I know this has been mentioned before, but I think it would be great if the devs could fix the issue of being "pushed out" from the wall when trying to jump. It is truly infuriating. There is no correlation with reality; no one in the universe jumps straight up and suddenly floats sideways five or six feet. I am trying to make it through Raiding the Giant's Vault and the steps are too large / high to simply climb; you have to jump. I am CONSTANTLY being pushed out when jumping straight up, not into an overhang or anything, and it is extremely annoying. Mario Brothers-type quests are not a favorite of mine to begin with, but this glitch nearly makes them unbearable.

Any help will be apprecited.

I did not find the right solution from the Internet.

Slow and Fast Mountain Climbing Problem

Hello,

Has anyone else having movement recognition problems with slow and fast mountain climbing? The game keeps telling me to raise my back. My arms are already straighten up and I'm sure I'm synched. I'm also having the same problem with that push up / support with elbows abs workout which I do not remember the name right now. This is so annoying. If anyone is getting this right, is there any tips for me?

Any help will be apprecited.

mountain biking geekery/hacking

Hello,

I read somewhere that geek types surprisingly tend to also be the outdoors / exercising types. This is in direct contrast to our white and pasty basement dwelling stereotype. Pretty sure the article was on Wired, which is a well read and respected publication. It's science. So, fellow non-pasty exercise geek types, how do you prefer to get your endorphine rush? Personally, I'm into mountain biking. True to the hacker norm, I bought something cheap and barely adequate and I'm in the process of steadily upgrading it to badass. Here's a run-down on my two-wheeled adventure machine: Starting point: Mongoose Theory - it's a craptastic bike that I bought on Amazon for $ 250, shipped. Very basic full suspension and front disc brakes. The forks had a whopping 50mm of travel, no adjustment, and the front caliper was not even assembled when I got it. My first ride out I split one of the gears on the rear cassette (cheapo stamped chinese steel), Mongoose replaced it for free. Two months later I kicked a stick up into the rear wings which swung around, ran through the chain, and snapped my deraillure, Mongoose also replaced that for free. The shoddy stock wheels have taken such a beating that they're no longer able to be straightened. This is all in 4 months of riding.

How limiting is a rigid bike?

Hello,

I've been wanting to expand my cycling a bit lately to include more off road riding. I have no intention of racing or going to a trail centre or anything like that, just exploring tracks and bridleways. I think I've heard it classed as rough stuff cycling. I don't currently own a mountain bike and don't really have the money to buy a decent new one. I've been thinking about buying an old rigid mountain bike because even fairly high quality ones can be had for quite low cost. I really want to steer clear of the weight and maintenance issues associated with cheap or old suspension forks. I am also thinking that a rigid bike should be more versatile and could alternate as a cheap touring bike if fitted with racks. The question is how would the lack of suspension limit me off-road? People went mountain biking before suspension. If it is mainly a case of being slower I'm not bothered about that. Is it just a case of using wider tyres and dropping the pressure a bit?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
